Mildred R. Bogert

Mildred R. Bogert, 93, formerly of North East, PA passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 at Barnabas Court at Brevillier Village. She was born on January 8, 1917 in North East, PA a daughter of the late Archie and Edith Hartley Evans.

She was a graduate of North East High School and was a member of the North East Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Prior to her retirement, Mildred had worked for many years at Welch Foods in North East.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald J. Bogert in 2000 and one sister Jean Wiggers. Mildred is survived by one son, James D. Bogert and his wife Mary of North East and one daughter Barbara Nissen and her husband Jack of Harborcreek. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. and are invited to attend funeral services there on Tuesday at 11 A.M. Bishop Jerod Wilkerson will officiate. Interment will be in North East Cemetery.
