Ellen K. Wolfe R.N.

Ellen K. Wolfe R.N., 94, formerly of North East, PA and Buffalo, NY, passed away, Friday February 12, 2010 at Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center. She was born on March 16, 1915 in Edinboro, PA a daughter of the late James and Sadie Leacock Wolfe.

She was a former member of the Asbury-Delaware Methodist Church in Buffalo and was associated with the Park United Methodist Church in North East. Ellen was a Public Health Nurse in Buffalo and also a Clinical Nursing Instructor at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club in Buffalo.

She was preceded in death by one brother James Wolfe and one sister Gertrude Lewis. Ellen is survived by a niece, Janet Raup of Erie and three nephews, Tom Wolfe and David and James Lewis. Also survived by 5 great nieces and nephews and 7 great great nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Tuesday in the Old Part of North East Cemetery at 11 A.M. Rev. Dr. Mark E. Hecht will officiate.
