Carol Lee Mactarnaghan Bowser

Carol L. MacTarnaghan Bowser, 74, passed away Friday January 29, 2010 at her residence in North East, PA. She was born on February 12, 1935 in Erie, PA a daughter of the late Harold C. and Leah C. Cochran MacTarnaghan.

Carol was a graduate of North East High School and had attended Grove City College. She was preceded in death by one brother, James MacTarnaghan.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Harry E. Bowser whom she married August 10, 1955, three sons, Timothy Bowser of Millheim, PA, Dennis Bowser and his wife Carmen of West Richland, WA and Andrew Bowser of Tenants Harbor, ME and two grandchildren, Sherard and Lamar Bowser.

Friends will be received at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral services and interment in Grahamville Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family. Rev. Mark Eberly will officiate. Memorials may be made to the McCord Memorial Library, 32 W.
