Patricia J. Mojden Klenz

Patricia J. Mojden Klenz, 62, of Big Flats, N.Y. passed away Sunday June 28, 2009 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, N.Y. after a lengthy battle with lupus and complications from pneumonia.

Pat was born on April 27, 1947 in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of the late Wally and Gladys Mojden. She is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Allan Klenz, one son Mark Klenz and his wife Meg of Clay, N.Y., one daughter Sara Schaeber and her husband Todd and two beautiful granddaughters, Abigail Patricia and Emerson Mary all of Fairport, N.Y., one sister Mary Muhr and her husband Wayne of Fairport, N.Y. and two brothers, Andrew Mojden and his wife Dorsey and Daniel Mojden and his wife Yolanda all of Hinsdale, Ill. Pat also leaves behind many dear friends.

Pat was a gifted writer who won an award from Billboard Magazine for her creativity in advertising. She taught Sunday school for many years and enjoyed reading, traveling and was a gifted shopper. Above all, Pat was a cherished wife and a selfless mother. Her generosity, sense of humor and kind spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 11 A.M. at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 30 Clinton St., North East, Pa. Rev. David Kuchta will officiate. Interment will be in North East Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Pat's name to The Lupus Foundation of America, 2000 L. Street, NW 710, Washington, DC 20036. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, Pa 16428.
