Thelma J. Wykoff

Thelma J. Wykoff, 75, of North East, passed away Friday June 19, 2009 at Hamot Medical Center. She was born on January 4, 1934 in Lawton, MI a daughter of the late Lawrence and Katherine Delmader Anderson.

Thelma was a member of Praise Cathedral Church of God in North East. She had been employed as a linotypist for the North East Breeze for over 30 years and prior to her retirement was a clerk at McCord Memorial Library in North East.

She was preceded in death by one brother Jerry Anderson. Thelma is survived by two sons, Gary Wykoff of North East and Bill Wykoff of Erie, two daughters, Dawn Blakeslee of Hollywood, FL and Kathy Foltz of Meadville, one brother Larry Anderson of VA and two sisters, Marilyn Zysk of Erie and Shirley Long of TX. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA on Tuesday from 11 A.M. until the time of funeral services there at 1 P.M. Rev. Michael Grove, pastor of Praise Cathedral Church of God will officiate. Interment will be in North East Cemetery.
