Ella Mae Hogue

Ella Mae Hogue, 86, of North East, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Ball Pavilion. She was born on July 15, 1921 in North East, PA a daughter of the late Charles and Jessie Ricart Sandhoff.

Mae was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in North East, where she was a member and past president of the Ladies Aid of the church. She enjoyed quilting with the ladies at the church and going to the cabin she and her late husband owned. Mae was always ready to help family and friends with anything they needed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis D. Hogue in 1994, five brothers and four sisters. Mae is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA on Friday from 7 to 9 P.M. and are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday at 11 A.M. at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 30 Clinton St., North East, PA. Rev. David Kuchta will officiate. Interment will be in North East Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Chruch, 30 Clinton St., North East, PA 16428.
