Ruth Marie Clancy

Ruth Marie Clancy, 93, of North East, passed away Monday, April 21, 2008 at Twinbrook Medical Center. She was born on July 28, 1914 in Lewistown, PA a daughter of the late Lynn and Jennie Anderson Clancy.

Ruth taught fourth grade in the Niagara Falls School District, Niagara Falls, NY for many years and was a member of the Niagara Falls Baptist Church. Along with her sister Joanne, she enjoyed raising and showing cats.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Grace Anderson and Marilyn Fuest, and by two brothers, Lynn Clancy Jr. and Wilbert Clancy. Ruth is survived by her sister Joanne Reynolds of North East and by several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East with interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
