Ina Mae Woods

Ina Mae Woods, 88, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 at her residence, 76 W. Main St., North East, PA where she had lived for the past 87 years. She was born on March 25, 1919 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late Dr. Thomas A. and Eva J. Findley Beal.

Ina was an avid reader, enjoying mysteries and doing crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Winifred B. Chilcott. Ina is survived by one son, Tom Woods and his fiancée, Donna M. Kelley, both of North East and one niece, Lois Allen and her husband Fred of Rochester, NY.

Friends will be received at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA on Monday from 6 to 8 P.M. and are invited to attend funeral services there on Tuesday at 11:30 A. M. Rev. Dr. Gregg D. Townsend, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of North East will officiate. Interment will be in Mina Cemetery, Mina, NY. Memorials may be made to the Community Nursing Services of North East, 7 Park St., North East, PA 16428.
