Kathryn E. Wilks

Kathryn E. Wilks, 97, of 20 Pershing Ave., North East, PA, passed away Thursday January 17, 2008 at Ball Pavilion. She was born on August 4, 1910 in Corry, PA a daughter of the late Ellwood P. and Marcia Grace Harvey Waltz

Kathryn was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in North East and the Triangle Chapter D.A.R. in North East. She was recognized as the oldest living member of the North East Womens Club. Kathryn was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

Preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. Wilks in 2001. She is survived by three sons, Donald P. Wilks and his wife Beverly of Bowling Green, OH, Richard J. Wilks and his wife Janet of Chagrin Falls, OH and Thomas W. Wilks and his wife Ann of Alvin TX. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great, great grandson..

Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Monday at 11:30 A.M. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1500 Freeport Rd., North East, PA. Rev. Charles Wertz, pastor of St. Peter's Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will follow in North East Cemetery.

Main St., North East, PA or the Community Nursing Services of North East, 7 Park St., North East, PA 16428. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S.
