Mary K. Klenz

Mary K. Klenz, 84, of 4822 Rt. 89, North East, PA, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Twinbrook Medical Center. She was born on August 24, 1922 in Erie, PA a daughter of the late George and Ida Lohse Bolan.

Retiring in 1989, she had been employed as a secretary with the North East School District for 29 years. Mary was a very active member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in North East where she was a member of the Ladies Aid of the Church. She was a member of LWML and the Valparaiso University Guild. Mary enjoyed watching NASCAR and doing word and picture puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harold W. Klenz in 1998 and one brother, Robert Bolan. Mary is survived by one son, Allan Klenz and his wife Patricia of Big Flats, NY, one daughter, Susan Concilla and her husband Edward of North East, one brother Thomas Boland of Erie and two sisters, Patricia Niemic of Pittsburgh, PA and Gerry Cochran of Vero Beach, FL. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, Mark Klenz and his wife Meg, Sara Schaeber and her husband Todd, Scott Concilla and Keith Concilla and a great granddaughter, Abigail Schaeber and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, Independent Care Group Affiliate, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. and are invited to attend funeral services on Friday at 12 noon from St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 30 Clinton St., North East. Rev. David Kuchta, pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will be in North East Cemetery.
