Ruth Mary Boarts

Ruth Mary Boarts , beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, of Matthews, NC, died Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Presbyterian Main in Charlotte, NC. She was 64. Mrs. Boarts was born January 24, 1943 in North East, Pennsylvania to the late James and Edith Beatty Law.

She worked for 20 years as a Medical Office Manager for various physicians and retired as a homemaker. Mrs. Boarts was quick to smile and made many friends. She loved to decorate and to beautify her home and surroundings with her creative talents.

She is survived by husband David; children, William Boarts of Grove City, PA, and Beverly Boarts of Charlotte, NC; 2 sisters, Beverly Forsythe of Ripley, NY, and Emma Post of North East, PA; and three grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA on Sat, July 28, 2007 from 3:30 until the time of a memorial service there at 4 P.M. with Rev. Jackie Condon officiating. Following the memorial service friends are invited to State Line United Methodist Church for a light luncheon and a period of fellowship from 5 to 7 P.M.
